Consider us bewitched by the teaser for Netflix’s upcoming TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Based on the first footage, it looks like we’ll need to start preparing ourselves now for some yearning of epic proportions between Emma Corrin‘s Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden‘s Mr. Darcy.

We’ve come to expect as much from any adaptation of Jane Austen’s iconic story, whether it be in movie or show form. “Playing Elizabeth Bennet is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Corrin said. “To be able to bring this iconic character to life, alongside Olivia [Colman] and Jack, with Dolly [Alderton]’s phenomenal scripts, is truly the greatest honor.
