‘Pride and Prejudice’: Everything We Know So Far About Netflix’s Jane Austen Adaptation

We are more than ready to be “bewitched” by Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. We’ve seen Jane Austen’s story in movie form, and now, it’s making its way back to the small screen, three decades after BBC’s Colin Firth-led miniseries aired.

This time around, Slow Horses star Jack Lowden is stepping into the shoes of Mr. Darcy, while The Crown‘s Emma Corrin takes on the role of Elizabeth Bennet. “Playing Elizabeth Bennet is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Corrin said. “To be able to bring this iconic character to life, alongside Olivia [Colman] and Jack, with Dolly [Alderton]’s phenomenal scripts, is truly the greatest honor. I can’t wait for a new generation to fall in love with this story all over again.”
