‘High Potential’ First Look: Morgan & Karadec Get Honest With Each Other in Sneak Peek (VIDEO)
High Potential‘s latest episode is getting a bit theatrical when Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) consults on a case involving a man who falls onto his car from the roof of a building. The catch? The victim was wearing tap shoes.
In the installment, “Dancers in the Dark,” Morgan is called in to help investigate the attempted murder of the tap dancer, per the logline, but in an exclusive first look, Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) initially suspects a suicide attempt. As seen in the sneak peek clip, above, Morgan is called out by one of the officers on-site at the crime scene, “Aren’t you our cleaning lady?”
“Not today. Check back in with me tomorrow. We’ll see how this goes,” Morgan responds uncertainly.
“We’re really doing this, huh?” Karadec questions, hinting at his shock over their new workplace dynamic. As viewers saw in the premiere episode, Karadec isn’t a particular fan of Morgan’s methods when it comes to solving crimes, but her talent is undeniable as she pushes her high IQ to the limit in order to uncover the truth.
“We’re doing it,” Morgan responds enthusiastically.
The victim, according to Karadec is named Damian Ross (Alaman Diadhiou), and he fell three stories onto his tricked out car. “9-1-1 got an anonymous call from someone who heard the impact. EMTs rushed him to County General. He’s in surgery now,” Karadec fills Morgan in on the details. “Not sure if he’ll make it.”
As Karadec continues to provide details to Morgan, he notes that he believes it could be a suicide attempt. “Strange as it may sound, Damian was found wearing tap shoes. So maybe he jumped after one last dance?” he wagers.
When Morgan responds with a “Hmm,” Karadec pushes for answers. “Hmm, what?” he asks.
“Oh, no, nothing. Just, I mean, you know…” she trails off.
“No, I don’t know. Morgan if this is gonna work, and I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, you have to say what you’re thinking.” Will Morgan speak her mind? Watch the full clip, above, and don’t miss the episode “Dancers in the Dark,” which also sees Ava (Amirah J) learn more about her father and Morgan surprise her kids.
