‘Law & Order’ Sneak Peek: Price & Maroun Plead Their Cases to McCoy (VIDEO)

Does the DA’s office have enough to convict in the March 10 episode of Law & Order? At the point of TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek, that’s very much up for debate.

ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) and ADA Samantha Maroun (Odelya Halevi) have differing opinions, meaning it falls on D.A. Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) to make the decision. “We have a decent circumstantial case,” Maroun insists, but Price argues, “Without a body, it is definitely less than decent.”

So what evidence do they have, McCoy wants to know. “We found Amanda’s prints in Garrett’s truck,” Maroun tells him. However, “they went on a date,” Price says. “She was in his truck.” There is an eyewitness who saw someone matching the suspect’s description grab her off the street, but that witness isn’t exactly the most reliable.

What is suspicious is the fact that “Garrett was hiding in the woods, with a shovel, zip ties, lye,” Maroun says before acknowledging, “I’m not saying it’s perfect, but we definitely have something. Definitely enough to charge him.” The problem is that’s “not enough to convict,” according to Price. “As it stands, we can’t even prove Amanda’s dead.” Watch the clip above to see what McCoy has to say and where he stands when it comes to what they should do.

In “Filtered Life,” Detective Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson) and Detective Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) investigate the disappearance of a social media star whose case takes the internet by storm. Price and Maroun must weigh their decisions about the case against the wishes of the missing woman’s family.
