When Pit Bulls and Parolees returns for Season 7, Tia Torres and her team are still busy rescuing abused, neglected and abandoned dogs – so busy that their Villalobos Rescue Center is maxed out with 400 dogs. They've started a new chapter by expanding beyond New Orleans to the bayous of Assumption Parish; in this exclusive clip from the premiere, it seems starting a satellite shelter is no easy feat.

"The thought of losing another dog because they were to far away" was the ultimate factor in the decision to expand into the Assumption Park District, Torres says. But with the new territory comes new urgency to save as many pups as possible. The 25-episode season, with all of its heart-warming victories and heart-wrenching losses, begins this weekend. The show is produced by 44 Blue Productions.
