Who’s Who: Meet the Students of Peacock’s ‘Saved by the Bell’ Series

Saved by the Bell Peacock
Peacock

School is back in session at Bayside High, and a new generation is hitting the books in Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reimagining.

Of course, you’ll still see familiar faces from the 1990s-era NBC sitcom—including Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano, Mario Lopez as A.C. Slater, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris—but you’ll also meet new characters. Scroll down to see which actors play Bayside’s brightest in the new show.

Saved by the Bell, Streaming Premiere, Wednesday, November 25, Peacock

Saved by the Bell Belmont Cameli Jamie
Chris Haston/Peacock

Jamie (Belmont Cameli)

As Jessie’s son—and the captain of the football team—Jamie is Bayside royalty. Cameli himself is a relative newcomer: His only credits so far are a guest-starring role as “Cute Guy” in a 2018 episode of Empire and a part in the thriller The Husband the following year. Coming up, though, he’ll appear in the comedy-drama film Most Guys Are Losers.

Saved by the Bell Mitchell Hoog Mac
Chris Haston/Peacock

Mac (Mitchell Hoog)

As the son of Governor Zack Morris, Mac is presumably a chip off the old block. That’s a role Hoog should be comfortable with: he played the younger version of Trevor St. John’s character in the CW series Roswell, New Mexico, and soon he’ll play the younger version of Patrick Wilson’s character in the horror movie The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. He also had small parts in the films Harriet and Richard Jewell.

Saved by the Bell - Dexter Darden as Devante
Chris Haston/Peacock

Devante (Dexter Darden)

Devante is described as a mysterious loner looking to reinvent himself at his new school, but Darden already has made a name for himself thanks to his role as Frypan in the Maze Runner film trilogy. He also starred in the movies The Binge and Joyful Noise and the TV show Making Moves for the now-shuttered Fullscreen streaming platform.

Saved by the Bell Alycia Pascaul-Peña Aisha
Chris Haston/Peacock

Aisha (Alycia Pascual-Peña)

New student Aisha shakes things up when she tries out for Bayside’s football team. Pascual-Peña is another fresh face in the industry. Her only acting credits to date are a two-episode stint in the NBC procedural Chase in 2011 and a role in the TV pilot The Plug seven years later. She will, however, appear in Amy Poehler’s upcoming film Moxie.

Saved by the Bell Haskiri Velazquez Daisy
Chris Haston/Peacock

Daisy (Haskiri Velazquez)

Smart and ambitious, Daisy is Aisha’s best friend. Velazquez played Charlotte in the Facebook Watch horror series The Birch and Rosa in this year’s Netflix comedy film The 40-Year-Old Version. In addition, she’s guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Blue Bloods.

Saved by the Bell Josie Totah Lexi
Chris Haston/Peacock

Lexi (Josie Totah)

A popular cheerleader, Lexi rules the school. After recurring on Disney Channel’s Jessie, Totah starred in the ABC sitcom Back in the Game and the NBC comedy Champions. You might also recognize her from guest spots on New Girl and Glee.
