“The Wedding” (Season 1, Episode 7)
It’s rare to find an Outlander fan who has yet to witness Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) infamous wedding, but even after seeing this steamy episode, die hard viewers are never disappointed with a revisiting of the momentous occasion.
“The Reckoning” (Season 1, Episode 9)
In this installment, Jamie and Claire are at odds for the majority of the action, but as evidenced in the image above, that changes before the run-time is through.
“The Devil’s Mark” (Season 1, Episode 11)
In this pivotal chapter in which Claire reveals her big time-traveling secret to new hubby Jamie, the pair share some emotional moments together. Also, Jamie gets pretty heated when his wife is put in a compromising position, but we’ll leave it at that.
“Not in Scotland Anymore” (Season 2, Episode 2)
When the action movies to Paris, Claire’s clothes undergo a transformation and in this episode, her Versailles gown turns more than just Jamie’s head. Thankfully this duo only has eyes for each other.
“Dragonfly in Amber” (Season 2, Episode 13)
The sad nature of Jamie and Claire’s intense moments together in this episode doesn’t negate their power. The sorrowful farewell between the lovers as Jamie sends Claire back through the standing stones of Craigh na Dun amidst the Battle of Culloden is no less filled with passion than their usual exchanges.
“A. Malcolm” (Season 3, Episode 6)
Otherwise known as “The Wedding” Part 2, this episode sees Jamie and Claire reunited after years of separation through time. Let’s just say they spend most of the episode making up for lost time.
“The Doldrums” (Season 3, Episode 9)
While stuck on a ship in the middle of a rescue mission, Jamie and Claire spend some quality time together. Ranging from lighthearted to intense, their infectious joy can’t help but be reflected onto viewers.
“Uncharted” (Season 3, Episode 11)
After being separated for a brief stint, Jamie and Claire have an epic beach reunion and the inclusion of a wedding make this episode worthy of the warmth inducing installments.
“Eye of the Storm” (Season 3, Episode 13)
In this finale episode, Jamie and Claire are put through a lot as they work to save their nephew. But they do walk away from chaos together, which is a win in our books. Plus, they share a few steamy scenes before the credits roll, which never hurts.
‘Tis the season to be grateful for fan favorite television, and Starz’s Outlander is a title worthy of the adoration.
While it may be some time before we’re reacquainted with lovebirds Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe), there’s plenty of episodes for viewers to enjoy this winter.
