Remember when Ziva (Cote de Pablo) said she had one more thing to do before she could put everything behind her in her last NCIS Season 17 appearance?
Well, that’s the focus of the December 17 episode, “The North Pole.” Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team help her with that “one thing” she needs to take care of before she can return to her family. Might this mean that a Tiva reunion is in the future? Last we heard, Gibbs had reached out to Tony (Michael Weatherly) while Ziva was around, and when Tony called back, Ziva said she would speak to him — but it’s unclear if that will have happened just yet.
“It is a life or death situation,” Diona Reasonover told TV Insider of Ziva’s return. “Ziva Gibbs, [and] the whole team really and truly have to put this case front and center because if they don’t, someone will die.” The actress also teased that we’ll get to see her character, Kasie, share a scene with Ziva.
