The first Monday in May is here, which means it’s time for the 2026 Met Gala. Fashion’s biggest night took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 4, with the biggest stars hitting the red carpet to benefit the museum’s Costume Institute in New York City.

The theme for the 2026 Met Gala is Costume Art, with the attendees dressing for the “Fashion is Art” dress code. Anna Wintour will be co-chairing the event alongside Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Beyoncé.

With this year’s dress code being quite open-ended, there are plenty of liberties for the stars to take with their red carpet looks. Every year, fans anticipate the fashion of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Blake Lively, Kylie Jenner, and more.
