It’s been 25 years since the iconic show Sex and the City premiered to audiences all over the world. The show was groundbreaking and a welcome into an “age of dis-innocence.” Viewers were introduced to the four iconic female leads of the show: Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and of course, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall).

Back in 2021, HBO Max (before the rebranding) debuted the newest addition to the franchise: And Just Like That… However, the show was missing one beloved character: Samantha Jones herself. As the first season revealed, Carrie and Samantha had a falling out, and Samantha took a new job in London. Carrie said that Samantha “fired [her] as a friend,” though the two were in contact by season’s end.

Now, it has been announced that Cattrall will reprise her iconic role in a cameo in the Season 2 finale of And Just Like That, for a phone call between Samantha and Carrie. Ahead of that, take a look at some of her most iconic moments from Sex and the City (including the movies), below.
