‘Cupertino’ Premiere Details: See Mike Colter Battle Tech Titans in New CBS Legal Drama

Get ready for a David and Goliath-style legal battle set in Silicon Valley. CBS’s newest legal drama, Cupertino, features an Evil reunion with Mike Colter and cocreators Robert King and Michelle King.

In the series, Colter stars as Michael Price, who, alongside Rachel Keller‘s Olivia Siffre, gets fired from a local firm after a stock option theft scheme and decides to wage (legal) war on greedy tech gurus.

CBS has now revealed the first photos from the series, which premieres on October 8, including glimpses of Colter and Keller in character, along with images of Renée Elise Goldsberry as opposing attorney Nichole E. Ferebee, who has a romantic history with Michael; Ella Stiller as the team’s assistant, Christy Palladino; Busy Philipps as Natalia Boutella, ex-wife of a billionaire who bankrolls the new firm to get back at her ex; Nik Dodoni as Vikram “Vik” Malhotra; and Max Casella as Uncle Chuck.

The  official description for the premiere, aptly titled “Michael & Olivia,” tells us, “Michael and Olivia join forces to form their own law firm to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths of Silicon Valley. Also, Michael’s former assistant, Christy Palladino (Ella Stiller), uses her close-knit family connections to help the firm in its inception, on the series premiere.” Guest stars for the first episode include Joe Morton and Steven Pasquale.
