‘CIA’ Details: Colin & Bill’s Op to Reveal Major Intel About the Mole — See Photos

It sounds like CIA‘s penultimate episode — fortunately, it’s already been renewed for Season 2 — is going to bring us very close to all the answers we’ve been seeking all season about who the mole is that FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss) is secretly searching for with his work in the fusion cell as partner to CIA Case Officer Colin Glass (Tom Ellis).

TV Insider can exclusive reveal the details and first photos from Season 1 Episode 11, “Forbidden Eye,” airing on Monday, May 11. According to CBS, “When Colin learns his CIA mentor has gone dark, he enlists Bill and the team to help track them down. But as they get closer, the operation reveals significant information about the identity of the mole.”

The photos, which you can check out below, offer a look at Colin and Bill’s investigation, including what looks like it could be a wall covered in potential intel about the mole, and Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss behind the scenes with director Milena Govich. As showrunner Mike Weiss told us at the beginning of the season, the mole is the “season-long arc. It’s a storyline that we’re going to thread through the whole season, sometimes in tiny little portions, and then by the end of the season, we’re going to fully embrace that storyline.”

Giving Bill this secret assignment is part of “the goal” of Season 1, he continued, “to have [him and Colin] work together, learn to trust each other, have that trust challenged, and then emerge on the other side of that on equal footing as friends and colleagues. But the testing that trust part of it is a big part of the story and I think the audience might suspect that Colin is the mole and if Colin is the mole, is there a good reason for him to be leaking information?”
