‘Chicago P.D.’ Photos: See LaRoyce Hawkins in His Last Season Premiere

The Wednesday, October 7, Season 14 premiere will be one of the last times we see Intelligence as we know it all together on Chicago P.D. Original cast member LaRoyce Hawkins is exiting early in the season. NBC has released promotional photos from the episode, titled “Demolition,” showing Atwater and the rest of Intelligence working a case.

According to the network, “Intelligence investigates the shooting of a parole officer. Voight [Jason Beghe] is forced to allow an outsider into the bullpen. Imani [Arienne Mandi] makes a difficult decision about her sister..”

The premiere also has to address the aftermath of last season’s finale cliffhanger. Imani was devastated when she finally reunited with her sister, Shari (Selin Cuhadaroglu), who’d been kidnapped as a girl by a sex trafficker whom she killed for. Voight ended the finale with a decision to make regarding turning Shari in for that murder.

Mandi told TV Insider that the premiere will explore “new territory” for the sisters and that Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) will be “a silent person there with [Imani] along on this whole journey … like a comfort of sorts, but not really established out in the open, if you will.”

Details surrounding Atwater’s exit are being kept under wraps, but Mandi said of her costar, “He’s so loved and has left such a legacy.”
