‘Abbott Elementary’ Season 6 Premiere Photos Tease Janine’s Classroom Makeover
Class is almost back in session for Abbott Elementary as the ABC comedy eyes its Season 6 return, and there are some big changes on the way.
As the show’s return looms, ABC unveiled several first-look photos offering fans a glimpse at what they can anticipate when Season 6 premieres on Wednesday, October 7. As previously revealed in the teaser for Season 6, Gregory (Tyler James Williams) is being promoted to assistant principal, which is understandably shaking up the dynamic with Abbott’s main principal, Ava (Janelle James).
Meanwhile, Janine (Quinta Brunson) is giving her classroom an epic makeover in the premiere titled “Jungle Classroom,” which seems to be the inspiration behind Janine’s decorations. As for the other teachers at Abbott, Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) leans on Jacob (Chris Perfetti) for help, and Melissa (Lisa Ann Walter) works to win her classroom back.
While fans wait to see how that looks when the comedy returns, we’re rounding up the exciting first-look photos from Abbott Elementary‘s Season 6 premiere below, which noticeably are missing fan-favorite janitor Mr. Johnson (William Stanford Davis). Where could he be? Tune in to find out, and let us know what you’re looking forward to in the comments section below.
