Jesse Pinkman

We hope that Aaron Paul’s hint on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he may be reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman on Better Call Saul is true. Not only was the bond between Jesse and Walter White (Bryan Cranston) the core of Breaking Bad, but his heart of gold made him one of our favorite characters on the show.

Dean Norris as Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad

Hank Schrader

We would love to see our favorite DEA agent-turned-“minerals” collector Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) back in action with an appearance on Better Call Saul. We got to see some amazing character development through Hank’s realization that his brother-in-law was Heisenberg, but what about his past? His marriage to Marie (Betsy Brandt) would be an interesting subplot to throw into Saul’s story.

Anna Gunn as Skyler White in Breaking Bad

Skylar White

Oh, Skylar (Anna Gunn). Love her or hate her, she would make an interesting appearance on Better Call Saul if we got to see her before her toxic marriage to Walter and fall into the drug trade world.

Walter White Jr. (a.k.a. Flynn)

Walter White Jr. (RJ Mitte) had a rough run on Breaking Bad from, well, everything going on with his father’s drug business to the growing pains of adolescence. It would be great to see Jr on Better Call Saul as a kid in Saul’s universe for a cameo.

Krysten Ritter as Jane Margolis in Breaking Bad
Lewis Jacobs/AMC

Jane Margolis

Poor Jane (Krysten Ritter) had such a short run on Breaking Bad,romancing Jesse and ultimately unable to fight her own demons during her heartbreaking death in Season 2. We’d love to see Ritter reprise her role to see the girl Jane was before her downward spiral.

Breaking Bad - Bryan Cranston as Walter White

Walter White

Of course, we aren’t going to forget the man who knocks. By the end of Better Call Saul, we hope that Walter White—a.k.a. Heisenberg—makes an appearance. Even though Walter wouldn’t be the drug lord he becomes in Breaking Bad, it would be fun to catch a glimpse of the high school science teacher before the the cancer diagnosis that started it all.
