The CW Reveals ‘iZombie’ Season 3 Episode Order

iZombie’s upcoming third season will have 13 episodes, The CW president Mark Pedowitz revealed during his Television Critics Association executive session on Thursday.
The Rose McIver-led drama, about a zombie medical examiner who gains insight into crime investigations by eating murder victims’ brains, also had a 13-episode first season. Its second season order (which debuted last fall) was originally 13, before an extra six hours were added. The third season’s premiere is currently slated for midseason.

After Pedowitz’s panel, he stressed that the network has faith in the show. “For me, it’s [executive producers] Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright,” he said. “They’re great showrunners; it’s really well done. It stays on [our schedule]. As long as it keeps performing the [same], it stays on.”
