‘Lethal Weapon’, ‘The Exorcist’, ‘APB’, ‘Pitch’, ‘Making History’ and ‘The Mick’ Ordered to Series at Fox

Fox has handed out orders to four new dramas and two new comedies for the upcoming 2016-2017 season.

Making the cut are new takes on the Lethal Weapon and The Exorcist franchises. The drama orders round out with Pitch, a series about the first female MLB pitcher, and APB, a series about a Chicago billionaire who invests in a police precinct to make it more technologically efficient.

On the comedy side, Fox has ordered the Leighton Meester-Adam Pally led Making History about time traveling friends; the network has also given a pickup to The Mick, starring Kaitlin Olson, as a free-spirited woman who is tasked with raising her sister’s children.
