‘Bones’: Is Brennan’s Relationship with the FBI in Jeopardy? (VIDEO)
Over 11 seasons of Bones, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) has often clashed with suspects during the course of investigations. But her recent attack on a Meninist supporter could cost her more than she imagined.
In an exclusive clip from this week’s dramatic hour, “The Last Shot at a Second Chance,” Brennan faces an FBI panel to give her side of what went down. And though Brennan goes into the exchange confidently—armed with facts, naturally—she soon learns that as a result of her actions, her working relationship with the FBI could be severed.

Brennan\'s part of tomorrows show should be fun but really do we believe she wont be allowed to work with the FBI again? No. Booth is probably going to give much better testimony and keep her on. This is one of those plots where the show runners forget things. Both Booth and Brennan have slugged unarmed suspects in that room before and nothing ever was said and done about it.Oh well it should still be good

I disagree and highly doubt that the showrunners forgot, it depends how you look at it. I only remember a few that either actually attacked her/were about to, or were actually killers in the end, this guy wasn\'t, there might have been some less severe hearings we simply didn\'t see, but this particular case might actually be more serious because the guy told them the very moment he will be filling charges. Others might have not (like that time in S1 when Brennan slapped the rich guy, he said he won\'t do anything about it because he doesn\'t want the news to be all over a story of how he\'s suing a woman for slapping him). On the contrary, I\'m very glad they\'re doing this for two reasons, a) continuity, b) as good as that hit was and as much as the guy deserved, it\'s still not exactly okay to do something like that, so seeing it might have consequences (we all know it won\'t and they will keep working together obviously) that she would have to deal with, I like it.

Everything you say is true but in particular Booth slugged that guy in season six and nothing in terms of a punishment for Booth ever came out of it. But I guess I just found it funny that\'s all and what I hope comes out of tonight is whatever Booth does or says that convinces the FBI they should still be a team. I am hoping Booth sticks up for her in not the typical way he normally would. I also agree that its good that there is consequences no matter how good that slap was. Hopefully it will be good tonight

You mean the Signs In The Silence? Well, nothing we ever saw, but that guy ended up in prison for kidnapping anyway, and in his case they could have said Booth was protecting the guy\'s wife as the guy hit/slapped her first. It still doesn\'t feel the same as hitting someone merely because they said something you disliked (as Brennan did) because legally this guy did nothing, the guy who Booth slugged was physically violent with his wife and a kidnapper.
But yes, since there\'s another hearing with both Brennan and Booth, it appears that them being allowed to keep working together is somehow his doing. I\'m sure they\'ll do everything they can, they love working together after all.

Probably true. It will be nice to see Booth stick up for his wife in whatever way he shows it
