Emma Stone and Jonah Hill to reunite for a TV series from Cary Fukunaga

The Superbad alums are finalizing deals to co-star on the dark comedy Maniac, based on the 2014 Norwegian series about a guy who is locked up in an institution, who lives in a fantasy life of dreams. Fukunaga, the Emmy-winning director of True Detective Season 1 and Beasts of No Nation, will produce and direct the proposed series, which is being shopped around to various networks with an eye on a two-season order.
