After all the tears, heartbreak, and drama ABC has announced its new Bachelorette: Becca Kufrin.

The network and host Chris Harrison confirmed the news during the After the Final Rose ceremony that she’s the next woman seeking love on the reality TV series.

THE BACHELOR

Becca told Chris Harrison the decision was “easy.”

“Once I got past the initial heartbreak,” she added. “At the end of the day, the show is about finding love. That’s all I want to do. I have so much love to give. So hard yes, all-around!”

The 27-year-old publicist from Minnesota has been at the center of controversy over the past 24 hours after Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. ended their engagement to go after his runner-up Lauren Burnham.

He proposed to Lauren on Tuesday night’s live show.

But surprisingly Becca holds no resentment towards Arie. She told People magazine, “I’m still going to feel a sense of compassion for him because I did love him,” she admitted.

“But at this point, I want him to be happy, I want to be done and not have to worry about them anymore. They’re going to be together and do their thing. I want to move on and have my person that I can focus on and live my life with,” she added.

It seems Becca’s going to just fine though. On the live special she already met a few suitors! From one man with an accent to another playing the banjo to the final hunk coming out with a real horse, the contestants look ready for love.

And we can’t wait to embark on this journey of love with Becca.
