‘Tamar & Vince’ Season 5 Trailer Drops After Divorce Announcement
News broke Wednesday morning that R&B singer Tamar Braxton has filed for divorce from her husband of almost nine years, Vince Herbert. On the heels of that announcement, a new trailer for the fifth season of their reality TV show, Tamar & Vince, premiered—and it shows the couple at odds.
The sneak peek released by WEtv shows Tamar and Vince struggling to balance their relationship and careers. Herbert, who manages his wife’s career, is heard saying, “I think Tamar is going through a midlife crisis.”
At another point, he tells her she’s “hard to manage” to which she yells, “Who says that to their damn wife?”
The most dramatic moment comes when the singer takes off her wedding ring and places it on the counter while her voice narrates: “I’m not willing to live like how I’ve been living.”
“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert,” read a statement from Braxton’s rep to People. “Collectively, their son, Logan, and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”
TMZ was first to report Braxton had filed divorce papers in L.A. County on Tuesday. The couple met 2003 and married in 2008.
