Amazon’s ‘Transparent’ Adds Anjelica Huston and Cherry Jones as Guest Stars

Bring on the fancy pants guest stars! If there’s one thing a young, Emmy-winning, critically-beloved prestige comedy is bound to get, it’s gads of high-profile actors clamoring to appear in its second season. Transparent’s latest: Academy Award-winner Anjelica Huston and Tony and Emmy-winner Cherry Jones, who will both join the Amazon series when it returns on December 11. Huston, who creator Jill Soloway confirmed would be a guest star back in September, will play a “new friend” (hubba hubba) of Transparent matriarch Maura (Jeffrey Tambor). Amazon has yet to confirm whom Jones will portray.
