Daughter Molly gets a Japanese tattoo on the ABC comedy’s November 20 episode, sparking a culture war between Ken (Ken Jeong) and his wife (Suzy Nakamura, center) to prove he’s more Korean than she is Japanese—“on Thanksgiving, of all times,” executive producer Mike Sikowitz says.

At one point, Ken greets his mother-in-law (Jeanne Sakata) in what he believes is his father’s traditional Korean dress. “But,” Jeong says, “he wears his mom’s by accident.”
