That’s one way to get attention! Deadline reported today that Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson (Snowfall, the upcoming Heathers series), is in process of creating a new TV series on Fox about Great Britain’s Royal Family. It seems like perfect timing considering the Suits star has been dating Prince Harry for the last year and been the topic of conversation around the world.

The series will indeed be a work of fiction, but the storyline centers around a woman who gets divorced and then remarries a prince and has to share custody of her child with her very regular ex-husband.

The show’s premise: “Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder when an ex-wife marries a British prince. Sharing custody with the British Royal family in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media is next level.”

The story, according to Deadline, was birthed after Engelson and Dan Farah, a producer, starting talking about what would have happened if he and Markle had had kids and now he had to share custody with the British Royal family. Seems like a reasonable question considering engagement rumors are swirling between Markle and Harry!
