Here Are Trevor Noah’s First Week Guests on ‘The Daily Show’
Comedy Central released the guest lineup for Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show debut next week, and it’s a pretty decent mix that ought to show off Noah’s interview style: the requisite politico, a musician, a comedian and someone related to tech geared towards Gen. Y.
Monday, September 28: Kevin Hart, who you know from every movie released last year, several comedy specials and the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber.
Tuesday, September 29: Whitney Wolfe, co-founder of Tinder and CEO of “women-first” dating app Bumble (which is not, as we initially thought, Tinder for Abominable Snowmen).
Wednesday, September 30: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is also running for president, but you could be forgiven for having forgotten that given his polling numbers.
Thursday, October 1: Ryan Adams, the guy who covered all of Taylor Swift’s 1989 (and also may have a few albums of his own).
When Jon Stewart debuted on The Daily Show in 1999, taking over for Craig Kilborn, his first-week guests included: Michael J. Fox, Sandra Bernhard, Tracey Ullman and Gillian Anderson.
The Daily Show With Trevor Noah starts Monday, Sept. 28 at 11/10c on Comedy Central.
