‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Lands ‘Jane the Virgin’ Dreamboat Francisco San Martin

Francisco San Martin as Fabian in CW's Jane the Virgin. San Martin will appear on sister network CBS' daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful.

He’ll take good care of your mansion…and anything else that might need servicing. TV Insider can exclusively report that CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful has hired Jane the Virgin star Francisco San Martin for the role of Mateo, an irresistibly man-tastic estate manager who goes to work for fashion mogul Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Mateo’s job is to oversee Eric’s magnificent Beverly Hills home, and he’s soon noticed by supervillain Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), who recruits him to seduce her arch-rival Quinn (Rena Sofer)—a surefire way to destroy Quinn’s marriage to Eric so Sheila can have Eric all to herself!

San Martin’s Jane the Virgin gig won him much attention last spring—he played Fabian Regalo del Cielo, the testy telenovela star who had a no-strings fling with Jane—and he was also the original Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives. His first B&B airdate is October 2.

The Bold and the Beautiful, weekdays 1:30/12:30 CT & PT, CBS
