I Can Do That, “Board Breakers, Avenue Q, Pilobolus” (Tuesday, June 16, 10/9c, NBC)

If you’re looking for some variety in your summer television, look no further than NBC’s I Can Do That. Every week, six celebrities pair up and attempt a new outrageous task, from going head to head against the basketball superstar Harlem Globtrotters to perfecting their magic skills with Penn & Teller. On tonight’s episode, singer Ciara and actor Alan Ritchson partner for a mixed martial arts showcase with the Board Breakers, while professional dancer Cheryl Burke puts her talents to good use alongside partner Jeff Dye when they join the modern dance troupe Pilobolus. But tonight’s show stopping act might belong to singers Joe Jonas and Nicole Scherzinger, who flex their acting muscles as puppeteers for the crude Broadway hit Avenue Q. In the end, only one duo will emerge victorious, but they can’t celebrate for too long before host Marlon Wayans unveils the next batch of challenges and the battle for I Can Do That supremacy rages on.
