‘Mayor of Kingstown’: First Photos From Final Season Revealed

Trouble is heading for Kingstown once again. The first official photos from Mayor of Kingstown‘s fifth and final season have now been revealed by Paramount+, and it looks like there’ll be a lot of major clashes ahead.

The new series, which premieres on Friday, January 15, will pick up after the lethal events of Season 4’s finale, in which Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley) exacted revenge against his wife’s killer, and Bunny Washington (Tobi Bamtefa) teamed with Mike (Jeremy Renner) to get his mentor-turned-rival Frank Moses (Lennie James) thrown into the clink.

In the first photos, we see all of these characters return, along with morally compromised warden Nina Hobbs (Edie Falco), a decidedly not moved to Montana Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon), the traumatized Anchor Bay guard, mom, and Mike’s love interest Cindy Stephens (Laura Benanti), faithful sidekick Stevie (Derek Webster), and DA Evelyn (Necar Zadegan).

Also spotted in the photos is the newcomer FBI Agent Russell Hardy (David Morse), who’s expected to descend on Kingstown in search of the “fugitive” Callahan and “unearth all of Mike’s sins and secrets and disrupt Kingstown’s balance of power.”
