What’s Worth Watching: Whose Line Hits a High Note

Whose Line Is It Anyway, “Heather Morris” (Friday, June 5, 8/7c, The CW)

The celebrity special-guest angle of the Whose Line Is It Anyway reboot can often make or break an episode. Some are more than willing to play and bring a fun new energy to the set (see Hart of Dixie‘s Scott Porter or Jane the Virgin‘s Jaime Camil), while some can be complete and utter duds (sorry, Real Housewife Kyle Richards). Tonight, Glee star Heather Morris, who has proven her versatility as a vocalist and a dancer, comes to play along with Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and special guest comedian Brad Sherwood. Given her background, it’s safe to assume we might see a special round of Song Styles with Wayne taking lead on a completely made up ditty, and perhaps another uproarious version of Helping Hands with Ryan more than happy to make a fool out of himself. Regardless of the games, the songs and laughs are guaranteed to kick off your weekend on a high note.
