The cast of The Walking Dead was looking especially fresh when they dropped by the TV Guide Magazine/TV Insider yacht at San Diego Comic-Con–a nice change of pace from seeing them on-screen in zombie guts and apocalyptic filth. During our chat, Melissa McBride, Lennie James, Chandler Riggs, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Danai Gurira talked to us about their SDCC experience, the show’s Friday panel and what experiences they’d be willing to wait in miles-long lines for. And when we asked how the newly returned Morgan would fit into the upcoming Season 6 (which premieres October 11), James–perched semi-precariously on the back of the couch occupied by the rest of the case –found a metaphor in their seating arrangement: “This is kind of telling–he’s sitting on the back of the chair … it could go either way, he could slip off or he could join them on the couch,” he said. We’ll be dissecting that one for awhile.
