‘Arrow’ Gives Olicity Fans a Present for Oliver’s Birthday (VIDEO)

What do you get a superhero who has almost everything? Well, if you’re friends with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), how about some socks…or better yet, alone time with the one thing he doesn’t have?
It’s Ollie’s birthday on Wednesday night’s Arrow, and in this exclusive clip from “Missing,” the gang gathers to mark the occasion with champagne, cheers and a little chit-chat with how they plan to spend a rare respite from fighting crime.

And while we are totally on board with taking hikes, getting mani-pedis and visiting Italy, it seems that Thea (Willa Holland), Lance (Paul Blackthorne), Digg (David Ramsey) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) are hoping that the vigilante Mayor might want to use their little break from saving the city to reconnect with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Hence the hasty (and, yes, so subtle) race to get more birthday cake.
It’s been a while since these two shared those lingering smiles and the fact that they are ready to take it one day at a time (while being all sorts of flirty) should give fans hope. Of course, the episode also marks the return of Katie Cassidy’s Black Siren, but we’re hoping that the evil doppleganger of Ollie’s other ex will actually drive the two closer to becoming the Olicity diehards have been hungering for since their engagement went south.
