The Returned, “Camille” (Monday, 10/9c, A&E)

Forget decaying flesh and rotten teeth—a different type of zombie is coming to A&E. In The Returned, a remake of the French series Les Revenants, a sleepy town in the Pacific Northwest starts to receive new visitors in the form of deceased loved ones. Tonight’s premiere focuses on Camille (India Ennega), a young girl who perished four years ago when her school bus tumbled off a cliff. She wakes up in present day with no memory of the accident to the surprise of her parents (Mark Pellegrino and Tandi Wright) and twin sister Lena (Sophie Lowe). But not all the returned come back with good intentions, as a violent act towards the end of the hour sends ripples throughout the town. With Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse at the helm, expect plenty of twists, turns and hopefully answers about this supernatural phenomenon.
