What’s Worth Watching: Time for Payback on Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire, “Red Rag the Bull” (Tuesday, March 3, 10/9c) NBC

Raging fires are the least of Engine 51’s problems. Lt. Welch (Kenny Johnson), the sexist tormenter of lone female firefighter Dawson (Monica Raymund) is now in the house, and the nasty ambitious Interim Chief Pridgen (Matthew Del Negro) is tormenting the team. He has a particularly personal beef with Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer), so when he tries to save his own ass after making a tactical error on a job , Pridgen blames it on Casey and wants Welch to back him up. We don’t think that Casey’s best buddy Severide (Taylor Kinney) will let that happen, do we? That manly bromance is the reason many fans tune in each week. Casey may not have Severide’s backing however, when his former fiancé Dawson learns who Casey’s been dating. Now, she’s someone to really be afraid of!
