Ahead of next week’s NFL Draft, the NFL released the 2017 season schedule, and the Super Bowl LI champion New England Patriots will have the honor of opening the season at home against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Sept. 7, on NBC.

The Patriots will host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7 on NBC in a rematch of Super Bowl LI. Other highlights of the NFL schedule include a Thanksgiving Day triple-header with the Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (FOX), the San Diego Chargers visiting the Dallas Cowboys (CBS) and the Washington Redskins hosting the New York Giants (NBC). Christmas weekend features a double-header on Saturday, Dec. 23, a full day of Sunday games on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and a doubleheader on Christmas Day Monday, Dec. 25. The regular season ends with Week 17 on New Year’s Eve Sunday, Dec. 31.

On TV, CBS and FOX again air Sunday afternoon games. NBC’s Sunday Night Football slate begins Sept. 10 with the New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys. ESPN opens its Monday Night Football season with a doubleheader on Sept. 11. CBS, NBC and NFL Network combine to air Thursday Night Football throughout the season, and select Thursday games, which could be streamed on Twitter last season, will now be available to stream on Amazon Prime.
