HBO Releases ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Teaser (VIDEO)

HBO released the first promo for Game of Thrones Season 7 on Thursday, a dramatic, 90-second clip called “Long Walk.”

That “walk” features Cersei (Lena Headey), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) all walking determinedly toward their respective thrones and sitting in them, with each seeming to like the feel of them, and not looking ready to give it up any time soon.

With the noise of a chill-sounding wind blowing in the background, and a glimpse of frozen air coming out of Cersei’s mouth at one point (not to mention a quick close-up of a White Walker), the clip has a somewhat icy feel to it (but don’t worry; there’s no eternally long-melting block of ice to sit through this time).

Appropriately enough for the throne-sitting going on here, the song playing in the video is “Sit Down,” by the artist James.
