GREY'S ANATOMY - "Why Try to Change Me Now" - The arrival of a new consultant puts all of the doctors on edge, especially once she starts stepping on toes in the OR. Amelia and Owen bring their personal problems into the hospital, while April explores some uncharted territory, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

Grey’s Anatomy (8/7c, ABC): The tried-and-true “Can this relationship be saved?” storyline is a staple of this long-running medical soap opera, but this time it applies most delicately to the professional bond between Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and her mentor, Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.). Eating crow isn’t Bailey’s favorite dish, but how else to win back the chief whose authority she now sees she may have undermined. In other relationship news, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd, who directed the episode) debate the state of their uneasy union while working a trauma case, so let’s just say: Pity the patient. And when Maggie’s (Kelly McCreary) mother (LaTanya Richardson Jackson) returns to Gray Slaon, Maggie still doesn’t know why. But we do. Guest stars include Hal Holbrook and June Squibb.

Superstore (8/7c, NBC): In an unusually topical episode, Mateo (Nico Santos) worries that his undocumented status will complicate his transfer to a Cloud 9 Signature store, fueling Jonah (Ben Feldman) and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) to offer legal advice—which could potentially make matters even worse. Another sign of the times: Amy (America Ferrera) comes to the rescue of Glenn (Mark McKinney), the victim of an Internet troll.

Inside Thursday TV: With robust ratings, the NCAA college basketball tournament resumes with prime-time match-ups on CBS and TBS. … Crazy Huck (Guillermo Diaz) takes on one of his most difficult missions yet for Olivia (Kerry Washington) on ABC’s Scandal (9/8c) after she learns yet more shocking news about the assassination of Frankie Vargas. … In the second-season finale of FX’s Baskets (10/9c), Christine (Emmy winner Louie Anderson) turns to Arby’s when Chip (Zach Galifianakis) joins the Russians.
