Spoiler alert: Clarke and company survive the apocalypse.

The CW just announced Friday that their dystopian drama The 100 will fight on for a fifth season of sci-fi and tribal warfare. The show joins fellow early renewals like Riverdale, Supernatural, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin (who's not so, anymore) and all of the superheroes.

The Vampire Diaries sticks a stake it in tonight and we still have to see how iZombie and The Originals do when they return later spring, but with so many shows already set to come back, it'll be a dirty street fight to find space for new entries come pilot time.
