Pat Sajak Is Unimpressed by Jackson Olson’s Dance Moves on Family Trip

Now that Jackson Olson has been eliminated from Dancing With the Stars and baseball is in the offseason for the Savannah Bananas, he’s spending some quality time with girlfriend Maggie Sajak and her family. In fact, he recently took his first trip with the Sajaks, including Maggie’s famous father, Pat Sajak.

Jackson got Pat to join him in a silly video for social media. In the clip, they mouth a scene from Gilmore Girls, with Jackson saying, “I love your daughter,” and Pat replying, “What do you have to offer?”

In response, Jackson tells Pat, “Nothing, only this,” as Maggie steps away, embarrassed. The camera then cuts to Jackson showing off some goofy dance moves as Pat watches with a confused look on his face. In the end, an ashamed Jackson walks out of frame.

“First trip with the Sajak fam… success… I think?” he captioned the post. His DWTS pro partner Emma Slater hopped into the comments to joke, “I taught him everything he knows.”

Jackson and Maggie went public with their relationship earlier this year. In May, Jackson told Us Weekly that he’d already met his girlfriend’s father, calling Pat a “great guy.”

He added, “Everybody’s nervous to meet the father of the person they’re dating, or mother or both. I’m a very weird person, I’m a very out there person. I’m not going to hold back who I am as a person, and people seem to enjoy that company. I’m happy that I’m able to be myself truly in every aspect now.”

With Maggie living in Los Angeles, she was able to support Jackson amid his journey on Dancing With the Stars. He was sent home during the October 27 episode in a double elimination with Tyler Cameron. However, Jackson and all of the other eliminated contestants will be back for the finale on November 24.
