Erin and Ben Napier are celebrating a major success as they continue to work on Season 11 of HGTV‘s Home Town.

On Friday, October 30, the couple took home a 2026 Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program for their work on Season 3 of Home Town Takeover. The series beat out competition such as Ask This Old House, Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House, The Last Wright: Building the Final Home Design of America’s Greatest Architect, and This Old House.

“Last night, our show Home Town Takeover: Sebring won the Emmy!” Erin wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 31. “We weren’t there to receive the honor because we are filming in Laurel and couldn’t stand to miss one of the handful of times our girls will trick or treat in their short childhoods.”

Sharing her appreciation for the show’s crew, Erin continued, “The team that made that show worked through so much: challenges and personal loss, but also built a show culture that is rare, like a family, a support system of friends and colleagues, just like the one we also have in Laurel. Takeover won the Emmy, standing on the shoulders of the original Laurel Home Town team who laid the foundation of what loving small town America looks like, feels like, believes.”

She concluded, “Cheers to these two teams. What a great and special honor to be part of them both.”

Another user added, “Congratulations! That’s amazing and well-deserved!” Someone else shared, “Fantastic news. You so deserve this honor. When do we get to see you on HGTV again? Missing your shows!” A different person posted, “Sebring resident here. Thank you for everything you did for this amazing little town! Congratulations!”

HGTV’s Jasmine Roth wrote in a comment of her own, “Loved being a part of this special town’s story. Congrats to the whole team!”

Brian Kleinschmidt, who also worked on Home Town Takeover Season 3 with his wife, Mika Kleinschmidt, celebrated the win in his own Instagram post on Saturday. “Proud to announce we can officially add “Emmy Award Winners” to our resume!” he said. “Congrats to the incredible team of Home Town Takeover on this well deserved win. But the real winner is Sebring, FL. You may think this small town with a HUGE heart was transformed…however, you would be wrong. It actually transformed all of US who worked on it.”

Home Town Takeover, which premiered on HGTV in 2021, follows Erin and Ben as they revitalize small towns across the country through renovation projects. Season 3, which aired last year, took place in Sebring, Florida. In addition to Roth and the Kleinschmidts, the season also featured special guests Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama, Chef Mika Leon, and Veronica Valencia.

The show recently returned for its Canada-set fourth season, titled Home Town Takeover Canada, hosted by the Baeumlers. The series currently airs on HGTV in Canada and on the Canadian streamer Citytv+. HGTV has not yet announced when the new episodes will air in the U.S.
