‘Ghosts’ Returns for Halloween, More ‘9-1-1’ Disasters, Royal Visit to Graham Norton, a PR ‘War’
A special two-part Ghosts Halloween special introduces Hetty’s sister, trapped in a mirror. The supernatural comedy Eternally Yours marks its first Halloween episode. 9-1-1 concludes its season-opening volcano crisis. William, the Prince of Wales, visits The Graham Norton Show. HBO‘s War stages a PR battle following a disastrous talk-show appearance.

Ghosts
The hit supernatural comedy won’t be back until midseason, but there’s no way it’s sitting out Halloween. In a two-part special, the spirits debate performing a séance to bring back the disappeared Pete (Richie Moriarty), possibly against his will, while Sam (Rose McIver) is away shooting her Polar Opposites romcom. With Kyle (Ben Feldman) subbing as their ghost-seeing conduit, a new wrinkle arrives in the form of Hetty’s (Rebecca Wisocky) long-lost sister Margaret (guest star Maria Thayer), who’s been trapped for eons in a magic mirror — replacing one that Kyle recklessly broke. Is Margaret’s presence bad luck for Hetty?

Eternally Yours
The new vampire comedy (from the producers of Ghosts) marks its first Halloween with a spoof on genre clichés, when history prof Liz (Allegra Edwards) invites her department head boss (Veep‘s Nelson Franklin) over for drinks, and he and his wife show up in full vamp regalia, milking each and every stereotype. Charles (Ed Weeks) is not amused. But the entire coven gets a fright when novice vamp Max (Jaren Lewison) uses an ancient relic as a candy bowl, unaware that it provides protection from werewolves on the prowl.

9-1-1
The lava continues to flow through L.A. in what is being promised as the conclusion of Season 10’s epic volcanic eruption storyline. Maddie’s (Jennifer Love Hewitt) new challenge is to keep the heat away from an overcrowded hospital, while Athena (Angela Bassett) continues to fight her way above ground. Followed by 9-1-1: Nashville (9/8c), where a plague of sudden blindness infests Music City, affecting Blythe (Jessica Capshaw) among others.

The Graham Norton Show
It’s not every day that an actual royal takes a seat on the iconic red sofa. In fact, it’s a first for His Royal Highness William, the Prince of Wales, heir to the throne, appearing on the cheeky British talk show to promote his pet cause, the annual Earthshot Prize for environmental achievement. He’s joined by celebrities who are involved in the movement, including Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, Ted Lasso‘s Hannah Waddingham, and conservationist and Dancing With the Stars alum Robert Irwin.

War
The juicy British divorce drama heats up when movie star Carla (Sienna Miller) melts down during a talk-show appearance, creating an image crisis after she reveals the circumstances of her and tech mogul Morgan’s (Dominic West) divorce. Cue the PR damage-control specialists on both sides, as public sentiment veers back and forth between the litigants, with innocent bystanders like Carla’s son Gabriel (Aran Murphy, also the son from HBO’s Youth) caught in the crossfire.

Ghosts for me. ... I may check out Cupertino, but I've already given it a couple of chances and been less than impressed.
