Exclusive
What To Know
- Dylan Efron reveals who he thinks will win Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.
- He previously came in fourth place on the show with pro partner Daniella Karagach.
- Efron also shares whether he’d do an All-Star season in the future.
Dylan Efron finished Dancing With the Stars Season 34 in fourth place, so he knows what it takes to make it to the Finals in the dance competition. The reality star has stayed locked in to Season 35 and is confident that his dance partner, Daniella Karagach, will take home the win this time around with Paralympian Ezra Frech.
“My money is on Ezra,” Efron, who’s partnered with Oroweat ahead of the 2026 New York City marathon, tells TV Insider. “He is everything this show is about. I’ve met him. I actually sat next to his mom before Dedication Night. His mom is an angel. I see how he turned out the way he is. Then Dedication Night, of course, was beautiful. I see Ezra winning this.”
Efron notes, though, that he’s “impressed with everybody” who’s left in the competition. “I came into the show now knowing much about Harry Shum Jr. [and] I am one of his biggest fans now. He is getting better at ballroom every week. It’s so fun to watch. Connor [Wood’s] one of my really close friends, so I love seeing his journey. It reminds me of mine last year. He’s improved a lot. And Amber [Glenn] is just insane.”
He also says he’d “definitely” return for a DWTS All-Star season if that opportunity presents itself in the future. “I was spoiled being able to learn from Dani. Going to a dance class on a Tuesday isn’t the same feeling,” he admits. “People have talked about The Traitors All-Stars, they’ve talked about Dancing With the Stars All-Stars … I am just so lucky to have one stab already at both of these. I would love an opportunity to do it again, but I’m very happy with just the memories I have. Either way, I’m happy.”
Right now, though, Efron is in marathon mode as he prepares to race on November 1. Ahead of race day, locals and visitors in the Big Apple can search for Oroweat’s life-sized sandwich running through the streets of NYC on October 30 and October 31. Those who scan the sandwich’s QR code will have a chance to win $50,000, as well as custom swag.

“Oroweat just goes hand-in-hand with running for me,” Efron explains. “I think there’s been a movement against bread for bodybuilders and people that are trying to stay lean, but when you run, bread is so important. For me, it’s like my ritual. After a run, I have a toasted PB&J and I have seen the benefits throughout my life, even when I was running Ironmans back in the day. I’m always looking for brands that align with stuff I’m very familiar with, and I grew up on the West Coast, and Oroweat has always been my brand.”
