‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Boss Teases Missy’s Season 3 Return

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is gearing up for even more family drama as the CBS comedy prepares to dive into Halloween with a major return.

When we caught up with executive producer Steve Holland to ask about what’s ahead of the Young Sheldon spinoff, he teased a Halloween episode, “which is actually great.” As Holland puts it, “It’s sort of Mary (Zoe Perry) and Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) going to war over who gets to make CeeCee’s costume.” And if the photos are any indication, it’s a tight competition.

Meanwhile, Holland reveals, “Missy’s (Raegan Revord) back in that episode and in the following episode.” According to the logline for the Halloween installment, “The Devil’s Interval and a British Stripper,” which airs October 29, Audrey isn’t the only one clashing with Mary as Missy and her mother can’t agree on her plans for the holiday.

However their feud unfolds, it seems like the next episode’s tease reveals the results as the description for Season 3’s fifth episode “A Snotty Attitude and a Party on a School Night,” says “Missy moves in with the McAllisters.”

But her move will also send Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) toward a breaking point as Mary will have to try and make things right with her daughter. That episode will unfold on November 5.

And Missy isn’t the only fan-favorite making a comeback this season, as Holland hints, “we have a few more Young Sheldon faces that will pop up this season.”  While he wouldn’t delve too deeply into who else would be back, he did say, “Annie Potts, who’s on another show right now, but she’ll wrap up at the end of the year… hopefully we’ll have her back,” adding, “It’s always a treat when you can get Annie Potts back.”
