Will a ‘Ghosts’ Séance Bring Pete Back? Sneak Peek at CBS’ Halloween Episodes

Things are getting spooky over at CBS as the network prepares for its Ha-Ha-Halloween lineup of Ghosts, Eternally Yours, and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage on Thursday, October 29, and TV Insider has your exclusive first look.

The big event of the night is the back-to-back half-hour episodes of Ghosts, which come together to form the highly anticipated Halloween special “The Mirror,” picking up in the aftermath of Pete’s (Richie Moriarty) disappearance last season. Additionally, the freshman comedy Eternally Yours takes a stab at the ghoulish holiday, while family tensions underlay every move in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which reveals a Jurassic Park-themed group costume.

First up for the night is the Young Sheldon spinoff, followed by Eternally Yours, and it wraps up with Ghosts, which is sure to provide the answers fans are dying for. In the exclusive sneak peek above, the spirits of Woodstone appear to partake in a séance with the renewed hope of bringing Pete back, but as the special’s logline teases, it’s an unexpected reunion between Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) and her sister Margaret (Maria Thayer) that is going to shake the house up.

Meanwhile, in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, it’s a battle of the grandmas as Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) and Mary (Zoe Perry) fight over CeeCee’s Halloween costume, putting Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) in the middle of it. Plus, don’t miss the return of Georgie’s little sister Missy (Raegan Revord), who has her own beef with Mary.

As for the vampires of Eternally Yours, they’re navigating their own challenges with the holiday, as Charles spouts in the teaser above, “My culture is not your costume.” That annoyance is easier to complain about than combat, though, with Charles and Liz (Allegra Edwards) hosting her boss and boss’s wife for Halloween — and they’re dressed like vampires.
