Hailey Glassman’s occupation is getting called into question in the October 20 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. As the cast trip to Erika Hammond’s husband’s private island continues, the women wonder exactly what Glassman does to make money.

“Hailey, what do you for a living? Where does your money come from?” Daisy Toye wonders, in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the episode. Glassman responds, “My hard work and manifestation,” to laughter from the other women.

In a confessional, Sai De Silva says, “I’ve been getting close to Hailey and I do feel like this is a topic that makes her a little bit uncomfortable. But I love talking about money. Give me that money. Show me the money, baby! Give me all the money! How can I invest it? How can I grow it? Tell me everything about the money, I’m listening.”

It’s De Silva who pushes Glassman to tell the group “exactly what it is you do for a living,” but Glassman isn’t budging. “It’s, like, tacky to talk about money. I don’t like talking about it,” she explains. This prompts Carole Radziwill to jump in and point out, “Only people who have a lot of money say that. Like old money people.”

Glassman talks around the subject, telling the women, “I don’t think life and people should be measured by how much money they have. I like to just keep it real and not be like … I appreciate the sunset and sunrises. I just don’t like when people like someone just because of money.”

As the women once again burst into a fit of laughter, De Silva insists, “We’re on a private island! We just want to know what the f**k you do for a living!” We’ll have to wait for the full episode to air to see how Glassman responds.

Per Glassman’s website, she is a publicist with clients in New York City and Martha’s Vineyard. Her specialties are “across the restaurant, medical, and entertainment industries.”
