Alison Victoria isn’t interested in changing her relationship status with Brandt Andersen any time soon.
Victoria finalized her divorce from Luke Harding in 2022. Two years later, she and Andersen made their relationship public by walking the red carpet together at the 2024 Daytime Emmys. Last year, during a Season 1 episode of Sin City Rehab, Victoria explained that the pair had been together for “almost three years” after meeting at a “mental health retreat.”
While Victoria is happier than ever in her relationship, she told People in a recent interview that she and Andersen have no interest in getting married in the near future. “I guess because I do feel like I’ve been in a relationship before where that was always on the radar, and I think it just caused this internal conflict and then conflict between me and that person,” she explained. “I’m like, ‘I don’t need anything but a good partner, at least right now.’ So it feels really good to just be happy with being happy.”
The HGTV star credits the retreat where she met Andersen with teaching her to be “open to real love and meet my true love,” and says attending the retreat was the “greatest decision that I made.” Rather than update Andersen’s title to her “fiancé,” Victoria said she’s proud to call Andersen her “partner” in life.
Andersen supported Victoria as she filmed Season 2 of Sin City Rehab, which premiered earlier this month. Filming brought challenges, and Victoria praised Andersen for being there during a difficult design project.

“I was like, ‘I don’t want to do this, I don’t know how I’m going to finish this.’ And Brandt was like, ‘I’m going to take over. Give me everyone’s numbers. I’m going to get on the phone with them,’” she shared. “I mean, I’ve never had anyone do that in my life. … [He’s] a partner who’s like, ‘I see your pain and I want to take it from you.’”
According to Victoria, fans will see several sweet moments from her and Andersen’s relationship this season on Sin City Rehab. “He really is my best friend. I used to hear people say that all the time, ‘Oh, I’m married to my best friend.’ I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, right.’ And now I get it because I have it, and things couldn’t be better,” she gushed. “I’m just very, very happy and celebrating him is one of my favorite things to do. We do such a good job of that.”
Victoria went on to tease Andersen’s plans for her upcoming 45th birthday. “He’s taking me somewhere I don’t know where,” she revealed. “He’s just like, ‘I’ll tell you what to pack.’ I don’t know where I’m going for this birthday, but I’m so excited.”
Before clarifying the couple’s marriage plans, Victoria sparked engagement rumors in March after posting an Instagram photo of what looked like an engagement ring. A source denied the speculation to People shortly after, stating, “Alison and Brandt are still happily in love and in partnership with one another.”
