What To Know

  • Kim Kardashian said being a contestant on Season 7 of Dancing With the Stars “traumatized” her.
  • She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and reflected about crying in her trailer every night during the three weeks she was on the show.
  • Kim also pitched a season of the show with her entire Kardashian-Jenner family as contestants.

Kim Kardashian is scarred for life by her time on Dancing With the Stars, but she admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she would be down to return to the ballroom if her whole family could be involved.

“Could you imagine if we did a Kardashian-Jenner whole season of all of us competing against each other?” she pitched. “Isn’t that amazing? And we all loved [the idea]. We were all like, ‘Let’s do it.’ I mean, I don’t know if they would ever do that…”

Kim pointed out that her brother, Rob Kardashian, “was so good” on the show and said, “I would just want us all back. I don’t know if they bring people back, but I’d do it!”

In 2008, Kim competed on Season 7 of DWTS with Mark Ballas. They were the third team eliminated from the competition. Rob was on Season 13 with Cheryl Burke in 2011, and he finished in second place.

“It’s so hard,” Kim recalled. “I would honestly cry in my trailer, like, every single night, praying to get kicked off. It was so hard for me.” She explained that she was “so shy” dancing in front of people back then. “I, like, couldn’t get over myself,” Kim admitted. “I couldn’t get into it because I was just so shy. And I never danced again since. I am traumatized. It’s traumatized me for life.”

When Kimmel played a clip of Kim dancing with Ballas, she cringed. “I can’t even watch,” she told him. “I actually can’t even watch that.”

However, Kim revealed her DWTS days were recently highlighted during a family poker night about three weeks ago. “Kylie [Jenner] decides to put it on the big movie screen because half the people there didn’t know that I did it and she wanted to show everyone,” Kim dished. “Thank God it’s so old that it’s, like, pixelated. There’s no HD version on YouTube.”

She remembered some of the moves, though, and even got up in front of the big screen and showed them off. “I wish I had the confidence that I do now,” Kim added.
