Candace Cameron Bure made a tearful confession about her husband, Valeri Bure, on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

In a preview clip of the Thursday, October 15 episode, the former Full House child actress, now 50, admitted that she doesn’t feel like a leader, particularly in her 30-year marriage.

“It just was a disappointment,” Cameron Bure said, getting emotional. “Honestly, the more I keep thinking about this, I’m really good at taking directions. I’ve been taking direction my whole life just being a kid actor.

She continued, “And then I met my husband at 18, and he was 20. And my husband leads. He’s a professional athlete. He’s an Olympian. I live with an alpha; I am a beta.”

That’s when the tears came, and she smiled through the emotion.

“He does everything for me,” she pointed out. “Because he’s a good leader. He’s a good leader, and I realized today I don’t lead at all. I don’t feel confident in my voice.”

When asked what she was going to do about that, Cameron Bure replied, “I do have a spirit in me. And so, I just, at this age, really wanted to see if I could push it. Yeah, I want to step up.”

Cameron Bure married Val in 1996. After 30 years of marriage, they share a daughter, Natasha Bure, 28, and two sons, Lev Bure, 26, and Maksim Bure, 24. The former child actress also recently became a grandmother — times two! Natasha and her husband, Bradley Steven Perry, welcomed a daughter, Winnie, in early October, while Lev and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed a son, Bond, in August.

Full House aired for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. In addition to Cameron Bure playing D.J. Tanner, it starred Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen as Michelle Tanner, Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone, John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis, Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky, and Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, among others
