Poor George! The Price Is Right model Alexis Gaube engaged in a playful jab with a fan about announcer George Gray.

For Season 55, the game show changed the format of the show to only have one model per episode, instead of the usual two to three per episode. Along with the models — Gaube, Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster, Devin Goda, James O’Halloran, and Manuela Arbeláez — Gray pulls double duty as announcer and model.

He will assist with games, prizes, and do everything the models do (except wear heels). Gaube shared a post of her on set of the game show in a bright yellow ruffle dress and silver heels. She stood in front of the TPIR sign, a car, and various prizes, including a trip to Mexico and a fondue fountain.

“Little Miss *sunshine emoji*,” Gaube captioned the Instagram post on October 8. The post also included drag queens Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova talking about the models on the game show and how they just walk around the car and show it off.

A fan commented on the post, “Beautiful. Just bring back the 2 models per show. George Gray isn’t a model.” The comment reached 27 likes.

Gaube replied to it, saying, “Don’t tell George that,” with two crying-laughing emojis.

“I agree! Bring back 2 models per show,” another fan said.

“How come you girls aren’t on that many shows this year? It’s just not the same,” one fan asked. To that, Gaube replied with two scissors emojis, most likely meaning cuts.

“Two models per show is SO MISSED!!” another said.

“Been waiting patiently to see you on TPIR! I agree with everyone. Bring back the 2 model system,” a fan commented.

“Gorgeous. Hopefully they’ll change the format. It was a lot better with 2 models,” an Instagram user said. To that, Gaube said that her feet agree. Lancaster shared in September that her body was “wrecked” after the new format.

“The models need to go back to 2 or three a day,” one last fan said.
