Luke Grimes Reveals Another ‘Yellowstone’ Reunion in ‘Marshals’ Season 2

Jefferson White isn’t the only Yellowstone alum joining the team on Marshals Season 2. Luke Grimes reveals to TV Insider that his original stuntman from Yellowstone is officially his stuntman on Marshals. He couldn’t work on Season 1 because he was busy doing stunt coordination for Dutton Ranch. His return allowed Marshals to intensify Kayce Dutton’s stunts in the new season.

Jordan Warrack does Kayce’s stunts in Marshals Season 2 (get an exclusive look inside the season in our 2026 Fall Preview). He started working on Yellowstone in its second season back in 2019, starting as an assistant stunt coordinator and working his way up to stunt coordinator by the final season. Warrack was the stunt coordinator for all nine episodes of Dutton Ranch Season 1, which premiered in May 2026 on Paramount Network and Paramount+. Now, he’s back to being Kayce in Marshals.

“[Warrack] grew up rodeoing, and his dad was a wrangler and a stuntman, so he’s grown up in it all his life, and he’s incredible,” Grimes tells TV Insider. “We’re actually able to do a lot more stuff with the stunts this year than we were able to Season 1.”

“There’s no possible way I could do all of the things required of Kayce in these scripts,” Grimes says with a laugh. “If you don’t start roping when you’re really young, you’re never gonna be great at it. And Kayce’s roping people and bulls and all sorts of stuff, so it would be completely impossible for me to do all my own stunts.”

Warrack also did stunt work on Taylor Sheridan‘s The Madison, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and Yellowstone spinoffs 1883 and 1923, as well as Kevin Costner‘s Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2, the project that Costner focused on after leaving Yellowstone.

Warrack’s other credits include Netflix’s Western drama Ransom Canyon, NCIS: Hawai’i, Blindspotting, Walker Independence, Don’t Worry Darling, Loot, Station 19, Outer Range, and more.

White appears later in Marshals Season 2 as his fan-favorite Yellowstone character, Jimmy Hurdstrom. The spinoff stars Grimes alongside his Yellowstone costars Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty. Additional stars returning in Season 2 are Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, and Brett Cullen. Morgan Lindholm has been upped to series regular, and Marque Richardson joins the cast as a new character.

Marshals Season 2 premieres on Sunday, October 4, at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. It returns to its regular time of 8/7c the following week.
