Fox News Fans React After Jessica Tarlov Silences Emily Compagno in RFK Jr. Debate

Fox News star Jessica Tarlov left her cohost, Emily Compagno, at a loss for words on Tuesday’s (September 29) edition of The Five after she hit her with a comeback she couldn’t answer.

The panel discussed the pros and cons of Democratic Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed compared with current United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Tarlov, the show’s lone liberal voice, said it’s a smart idea for El-Sayed to target Make America Healthy Again voters.

“He has a legitimate reason to be targeting these MAHA voters; he’s actually a doctor,” Tarlov said. “And he can point to the results under Bobby Kennedy’s HHS and say that ‘We are sicker as a result of this.'”

She went on to say that there is “good stuff” in El-Sayed’s health policy proposals, including, “Going after the pesticides in the food, that you should be able to sue the pesticide manufacturer, accountability for polluters, getting lead and microplastics out of our water. Like, what could be bad there?”

“Yeah, he’s an M.D. He’s not a practicing physician,” Compagno responded.

Tarlov retorted with a devastating comeback, saying, “Well, Bobby Kennedy is a nothing.”

Compagno tried to fire back, saying that RFK Jr. is the secretary of Health and Human Services.

“He’s confirmed as that, but I’m saying on the scale of going to medical school and getting through that, he’s a zero,” Tarlov shot back.

Compagno couldn’t come up with a response, instead turning to the camera and smiling and mouthing “hi.”

Instead, cohost Jesse Watters chimed in, saying that RFK. Jr is “in better shape than Abdul and he’s like 20 years older.”

“And he wears jeans to work out, like all real men,” Tarlov quipped.

“I bet he could put up more weight than Abdul,” Watters continued, seemingly equating physical strength to medical training.

“You like this talk,” Tarlov joked, prodding Watters in his arm.

Social media users reacted to the segment, with many praising Tarlov for her comeback. “This was amazing lmao,” wrote one X user.

“Her only comeback was this stupid look. Jessica ate her up,” said another, sharing a screenshot of Compagno smiling into the camera.

“One on four, and she kicks all of their asses every single day. Hilarious,” another added.

One commenter wrote, “[El-Sayed] is an MD. He earned the degree. He did not do a residency so doesn’t practice medicine. Actually went into public health. Meaning he would be more qualified to HHS sec than Kennedy.”

“Imagine your best comeback, when arguing about medical qualifications, is that your guy can probably bench more. Quite the self own there,” said another.
