CBS Sets NYCC Schedule & Panelists for ‘Ghosts,’ ‘Eternally Yours,’ ‘NCIS: New York’ & ‘Einstein’

New York Comic Con kicks off its 20th anniversary on October 8 at the Javits Center and this year, TV is playing a big part in the celebration. CBS has just updated their panel schedule with a deep bench of talent set to appear over the weekend, including long-running fan favorites like a beloved Criminal Minds alum, a Monk icon and the cast of their upcoming undead comedy.

So if you’re planning to hit the convention, check out these updates and plan accordingly!

Ghosts & Eternally Yours Panel — Fri., Oct. 9, 1:45-3:00 PM ET, Main Stage.

First up is the network’s supernatural sitcoms starting with Ghosts stars Utkarsh Ambudkar, Rebecca Wisocky, Sheila Carrasco and Devan Chandler Long, and executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. Expect “a ‘spirited’ conversation with behind-the-scenes stories, exclusive reveals, and teases as they unpack the Season 5 cliffhanger and discuss what’s next for your favorite residents of Woodstone Manor ahead of this October’s supersized hour-long Halloween special.

After that, Port and Wiseman’s new comedy Eternally Yours, billed as “an eternal love story about two vampires who have been married for five hundred years and their struggles to accept the human who is dating their daughter,” takes the stage for an exclusive sneak peek and panel conversation. Scheduled to appear are the exec-producers, along with stars Ed Weeks, Allegra Edwards, Jaren Lewison, Helen J Shen, Parker Young and Rose Abdoo. Both panels will be moderated by Patrick Gomez, Editor-in0Chief at Entertainment Weekly.

NCIS: New York Panel – Sun., Oct. 11, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET, Main Stage

Where else than the city it’s set in to celebrate the latest installment of the #1 global franchise? Stars LL COOL J, Scott Caan, Jennifer Beals, Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper and Devin Druid join executive producer and showrunner Byron Balasco for an in-depth conversation about bringing NCIS to NYC, their characters and what sort of action we can expect in their freshman season.  

Einstein Screening & Panel – Sunday, October 11, 1:45-2:45 PM ET, Room 409

There’s nothing like getting a first look at a show before it premieres, so you won’t want to miss this sneak-peek screening of CBS’s new crime-solving drama starring Matthew Gray Gubler as Lewis Einstein, the brilliant and directionless great-grandson of Albert Einstein, an eccentric professor who forms an unlikely partnership with a sharp detective to tackle the most perplexing cases. After the pilot screening, Gubler and costar Melissa Fumero are now set to be joined by the just-added guest Tony Shalhoub to discuss this unique blend of mystery, humor, and heart.
